He rapped at the door and the man of the house came out so he asked him could he stay till morning. The man said he had no way to keep him so he went away and he saw a barn a short distance from the Castle and a little light inside. He was sure there was some one living in it. He lay down on a lump of straw. In a short time a man walked in and started stared[?] at him. This man stayed until break of day.
