A Story (ar lean)
“There was a man and his wife one time and they had a daughter. A man came one day and got married to the daughter. The man lived for some time.”
(ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)The woman told him then what happened. The father said he would kill the Bullock. Then the daughter stopped crying. Next day the Bullock was killed.
The groom came back the next day. They all had a good dinner of the Bullock. The groom asked where did you get the new beef.
Nobody spoke then the father told him the story. The groom said You are the most foolish people I ever saw for killing your good Bullock.
As soon as I get my dinner, I will leave and if I get three people as foolish I will come back again and if I do not you will never see me again.
The groom left good-bye with them. He went home and left good-bye with them, and walked on. It was getting late, and he had all his lunch eaten.
He saw a little light among the heather. He looked in and saw a blacksmith(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
