    Clogs were worn locally but they were not made locally. And some people wear clogs yet.
    Some of the people long ago wore untanned hide for boots.
    There was a man living in Letterkenny called Robert Dobson and he died before last Christmas. He spent his life, and made his fortune, making clogs, and was locally known as the "Clog-man".
