Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)road is repaired by a Roller and a Steam-Engine. The Steam-Engine is for breaking the big stones in to small pieces. Then the small stones are scattered over the tar then the Roller comes and grinds them level.
Before bridges were made the rivers were crossed by means of fords. The planks were made of wood. These planks were laid from bank to bank. There are no traditions or stories told about them. At some crossroads there are always sign-posts to tell the people where the road leads to. There are no heaps of stones to the dead along any of the roads in the district.- Bailitheoir
