An elderly relative of mine living in the country is very particular about the way churning should be done.
She is somewhat superstitious, she expects any person entering while the churning is being done to lift the staff and churn for a few minutes. First of all a person entering is expected to say "God bless your work - your cows, and mil." She would not lend anything while the Churning is going on.(continues on next page)- Collector
