- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)sea it is a sign of good weather.
When the clouds fly quickly across the sky it is a sign of rain.
In this district it is the South West wind that has the most rain. In stormy weather the hills look near and the rocks glitter but in good weather the hills look far away.
Another sign of a storm is to see the Northern lights in the sky. If a storm is coming the water in the river gets dark. Sheep give signs of weather as when one sees them far up the hill it is a sign of good weather but if they are low down it means bad weather.- Bailitheoir
