Tullydish is a fertile district situated between two bogs hence the name Tulacj - Gá- Ais or Tulach idir dá Ais.
There are only two men in Tullydish over 70 one called Robert John Burns and the other is Hugh Doherty but neither of them is familiar with the Irish language.
There are two places in Tullydish where turf is extensively cut one place called the "Green-Road" and the other is "Sorn".
There is a wood in Tullydish called the "Plantin" which lies to the north and about half a mile from our school.
The source of the Tullydish River is in Sorn and it flows into Lough Swilly(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
