- On St Bridgid's day people make rush crosses and hang them above the door for luck. On st Patrick's day the people wear shamrocks in honour of St Patrick.
On Shrove Tuesday the people make pancakes as it is an of old custom.
On Easter Saturday the children build an Easter house and boil eggs and make a feast. On Hallow Eve night the people eat nuts and apples, some of people burn nuts, one of the nuts is given the name of a boy and the other is given the name of a girl, the nuts are put on a little spade to dry and when they are dry they set them on fire.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
