- Jack Walsh mowed 1 acre of corn in one day. There was a man in Lusk who challenged him to mow 1 acre each in a 2 acre field. They started at 7 o clock in the morning to mow all day long. When 12 o clock the man from Lusk went for his dinner and forgot about to mow all the day and Jack continued to mow away until his task was finished. Jack finished the work in 1 hour 50 minutes before the Lusk man.
