    a hole in the barrel. It was about the size of a bowl. Then he put in his tail a little bit and began to rub it round the barrel. Every time he put his tail in a piece farther. At last he put in his whole tail. The man caught a hold of it and held it fast.
    The fox made off up the ben as fast as a hare, with the barrel trailing after him.
    When the man thought he was far enough up the ben he let go his hold.
    Down to the bottom the barrel came tumbling. When it reached the bottom it split open. The man got out and went home. Never again did he go for a holiday.
