- The name of the local road is Bracara Road.
It leads to the Bracara and it joins Cappagh Road.
It was made in the year 1917.
Kylemore road is the oldest road in my district which was once leading to Bracara.
It is still used. It is leading to fields.
Bracara road was not made during the famine period as "Relief Work".
The people that were working with landlords got sixpence a day. During the evictions their wages rose to eight pence. There are old paths and by-ways in my district. Before bridges were made the people used to cross the rivers by planks.
They used to cross the new River.
There are no heaps of stones erected to the dead along the road.
There are Mass-paths through Crannagh and through Cnoc-Breac.- Bailitheoir
