I have not been clipped this seven long years and more" "oh you poor thing" siad she " It's a terrible thing that a poor thing like you was not clipped for such a length" So she clipped the sheep and on she went until she met the cow. "milk me, milk me" said the cow. I have not been milked this seven long years and more" "ah, you poor thing" said she "It's a terrible thing that a poor thing like you was not milked for such a length. I will milk you surely" So she milked the cow and on she went till she met the horse. "take the saddle off me, take the saddle off me" said the horse "It has not been taken off me this seven long years and more" "I will, surely" said she. So she took the saddle off the horse "get on my back" siad the horse and I will bring you to the nearest town. So when he left her in the town he came back again to the field he was in. In the meantime the old miser came back and missed money. He set out as hard as he could beat it after the girl and he met the sheep and asked did she see any girl and the sheep said "no girl went this way" He went on till he met the cow and he asked her did she see any girl. The cow said "no girl went this way" so he went on till he met the hourse and he asked the horse did he see any girl and the horse said "no girl come this way". "ah" said he "If none of you saw her she did not come this way. So he never got her. She gave a lot of money to the poor and lived happy ever after
