- The Coleen bridge:It is a small bridge about half mile from this school. It was built in the year nineteen hundred and twelve. There is the shape of a hatchet carved out on it.
Cashemere Shawl:It is a field which got its name from its shape which is like a Cashmere Shawl which was worn by the people long ago.
The Park of Adam:It is a field near our school. It was prophesised by St. Colmcille that when the religious war would break out between the Catholics and the North Men that those who got into the Park of Adam would be saved.
Portlough:It was called that name because it is situated near the lough.
The Mass Field:It is called that name because in pagan times the priests said mass in that field.
Sallies field:It got that name because a woman named Sally owned it.
Carraigin:It is a field and it got that name because there is a small rock near hand it.
Altacuit:It is a very steep hill wher billberries grow and it was called that name because it would take a cat to climb it.
