    he got drunk. So his neighbour was trying to bring the drunken man and his pig home, but he had to leave the man there.
    When he arrived at the man's house the woman was out, so he left the pig who was in a bag on the floor, and went on his way, After a time the pig began to tumble about until he went down into the room where the man and his wife used to sleep, he rooled in under the bed and fell asleep there. During the night the pig began to grunt, and the woman thought it was the devil so she wakened her husband and they went off to the neighbour's house. The people came with them and they brought a Crucifix and a bottle of holy water and went to meet the devil. They began to shake the holy water into the room.
    The pig got out of the bag and walked up to them, they all fainted. When the man came to his senses he thought of his pig, and promised he would never drink again
