Ar an leathanach seo

They danced and sung all day. In the evening they went on their honeymoon. The friends stayed at the man's house until very late that night. It was mostly a week they stayed away on their honeymoon. The people knew the day they were coming home, and they had furze and turf gathered for a fire near the gate leading to the man's house. When they were passing coming home the boys threw a bottle of paraffin oil in the fire. That night the old people were invited to the house. There is a saying that it is happy for the bride that the sun shines on.
