The imprint of the saint's feet, can be seen on the stone beside the well, to the present day. A procession is held yearly, and a sermon is preached on the same big stone, on which, St. Patrick stood, while preaching to the people, many hundreds of years ago.
A "pattern" is held annually to this well on St. Patrick's day. There is a river flowing near the well, and on St. Patrick's day, if the well should happen to be empty, it is refilled from the river. As each person(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
