    In this town he passed through Drumboylan, which is about three miles from Ardcane, and converted almost every family there. While passing through this district he prophesied that a church would be built there, bearing his name and that it would be the birthplace of many who would spend their lives preaching the word of God in foreign lands.
    Drumboylan church is now completed and it is dedicated to him. There is also a school in Knockvicar, near Boyle to his honour, and I am sure that a child out of every family in the parish bears his name.
    As to devotion to St. Patrick I do not think any other locality has as much.
