    black dress. They also make them out of Maple tree - made in the same way except that you use a bright coloured maple tree. It is said that fairies go round trowing something on the fruit on that night. According to legend it is dangerous to eat any fruit after Hallowe'en.
    Children try to peel an apple, without breaking the peelings and if they do so they throw it over the left shoulder to see what initial it forms as it falls to the ground.
