- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)young days but there is no part of it now. This is how he weaved he had a loom up in one part of the house to spin the yarn and weaved the linen into webs of cloth. The Loom consisted of spinner and spools for the yarn to work on and an article called a reed that the thread all run through to make the web of linen. My mother saw some part of it when she was young put there is none of the Loom to be had now, she did not mind her grandfather weaving as she was only three years old when he died in the year 1888 on the 24th September and he was buried in Moye Church yard now known as Newtowngore. He lived to be the age of 84 years.
