- There are many local beliefs with regard to the weather in this district.
For example when we are going to have bad weather the sky looks cloudy towards the south-west. (2) When the mountains seem near. (3) The cat comes very close to the fire. (7) Sheep and goats also give signs of the weather if you see them high on the hills you are sure of fine weather.
