    The Coffeys are very funny. They go in to public houses friendly, to have a drink and they always get drunk before they come out. And then they are the worst of friends, and they fight. Both men and women. The McCarthys and Hurleys are hardly ever around only at Puck Fair. The Hurleys don't go in much for rowing and fighting. The Blessing the tinkers always give is one of these -
    "God bless all here!"
    "God send you happiness and health!" "God spare you a long life!"
    "May you always have enough!"
    "May God's blessing be upon you always!"
    "God save you from all dangers!" "God's grace be upon you!"
