Ar an leathanach seo

The names I have just mentioned are those families who travel through the counties of Sligo, Mayo, Leitrim and Roscommon.
The favourite time for making their journeys are during the summer months.
The women are dressed in shawls and in appearance they are usually fair haired with sallow complexions. The men are dressed in ordinary clothes with a bright coloured scarf around their necks. They are well-built generally with good features.
Long ago they were two distinct races of travelling folk namely, Tin-smiths and Gypsies.- Bailitheoir
