Ar an leathanach seo
- On olden times when there were no cloth factories in Ireland the people made their own linen. Linen was made from flax. The farmers grew the flax. When the flax was ripe it was pulled and tied into little bundles. It was then steeped in a bog-hole for some time. It was taken out of the bog-hole and spread on the land to bleach.
When it was well bleached it was again tied into little bundles. It was afterwards scutched and hackled with an instrument called a hackle.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
