    if they'd be married would join hands and jump across the fire. If they came through unburned they'd be married and if they didn't they wouldn't be married atall.
    There is a holy well near here and people come to pray at it on St Peter & Paul's Day. It is situated in the parish of Dromard and many cures took place at it long ago.
