- There are many signs by which we can notice a change in the weather. We can tell by the sun, moon, stars, rainbow, and clouds.
If the sun goes down red it is a sign of fine weather, but if it goes down pale it is a sign of rain.
We can also tell by the moon. If it has a halo around it, it is a sign of rain.
If the stars glitter in the sky it is a sign of frosh:
We can tell by the animals also. If the cat scrapes the door on the twig it is a sign of rain. If the dog goes round in a circle before he lies down it is also a sign of rain.
The birds are also weather guides. If the sea gulls come inland it is a sign of a storm.
