There is a well in carrowreagh called "Coban-cos-capaill." It is said that St Patrick's horse drank out of it, and the track of his knee is still to be seen in the rock.

It supplies the neighbouring villages with water and never dries, no matter how fine the summer may be.
There is a well in Moylough called St. Patricks well.
It is called that because it is said that St. Patricks drank out of it.
