  1. The water supply of this place is obtained from spring wells. Some of these are of importance.
    There is a well in carrowreagh called "Coban-cos-capaill." It is said that St Patrick's horse drank out of it, and the track of his knee is still to be seen in the rock.
    There is another important well in that district.
    It supplies the neighbouring villages with water and never dries, no matter how fine the summer may be.
    There is a well in Moylough called St. Patricks well.
    It is called that because it is said that St. Patricks drank out of it.
    The water flows out from under the rocks and can be teemed from a hole worn in another
