- The people used to eat three meals a day.
The people did work in the morning before waiting - they usually looked after calves and fowl, milked cows and chuined.
In the morning oat meal porridge was eaten.
Herring and Potatoes were eaten at dinner.
Potatoes were eaten at one meal only. Milk was drunk, buttermilk and sweet milk were drunk.
No table was used, instead a big stool was used. It was placed along the side wall under the window. It was not hung up when not in use but it was left against the side wall to serve as a seat.
