- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)they are marked with mud or chalk. They are then brought off on a lorry and put into the train. If they are being exported they are put on board a ship. There was also a fair called the "Fair of Baldwin" and almost everybody used to fight at this fair.
On the first of February every year there is a fair held at Carricknagat. It got its name from a number of wild cats which lived there among the rocks. One year a band of tinkers came to this place and they had a number of horses with them. They killed all the cats and stayed there. The farmers then came and bought the horses. Since that there is a horsefair there.
