  1. There were once two men in Highwood named Jack and Jim. They were summoned to the high courts in Dublin. They were staying in a hotel. One day when they were eating their dinner the waitress served mustard with the dinner. Neither of them ever used mustard. Jim took a big spoonful of it and big tears rolled down his cheeks. Jack asked him what he was crying for and he said "I am crying for my father who died forty years ago." Jack then took a spoonful and he also began to cry. Jim asked Jack what he was crying for and he said "I am crying because you did not die with your father forty years ago."
