- (continued from previous page)relations and the grooms are invited to the feast which usually takes place after they are married. Most of the girls in the country like to get married about ten o'clock and then bride and groom and those invited to the wedding go for a long drive from the church in cars. They sometimes stop on the way for refreshments. A great meal is ready for them when the return to the house followed usually by an all night dance.
When the bride is leaving her home on her wedding day the tongs is usually throwing after her when she is going out the door. In some places they throw an old shoe and is is a common custom to hang an old shoe on the back of the(continues on next page)- Collector
