first finger and "lobs" the marble. This means that instead of "reeling" the marble as the exponent of the first mentioned style does the "taw" in this case travels some distance before it touches the ground. Some really good player can lob the marble with uncanny judgement on another player's marble to effect a "kill" or on one the "taws" in the "ring". Should a player forget his turn and take up his marble to "fire" before time, he is "burned" and cannot "fire" to "kill". So the game continues until only one player is left (the others being killed) or until the "ring" is "skinned" i.e. all the marbles are knocked out of the ring. Should a player reel his marble into the "ring" he is "fat" and is bebarred [?] from playing in that game.
