- There are many holy wells in Ireland. The holy well connected with Tralee Parish is called Wether's Well.
People pay a visit to the well on the twenty fourth of June every year. The people pay rounds and say prayers there. They leave relics, rosary beads, and prayer books there.
One time a person was going into the well, he saw three wethers coming out, and he told many people about it. The people called it Wether's Well. St. Brendan blessed it and since then, people visit the place every year.
Many people were cured from sickness, sores, and consumption. The people touch the water and about a week aftr they get cured. The rosary is said there and many other prayers are said there every year.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Faisnéiseoir
