  2. The amount of potato ground each year varies to what acreage of land the person has.
    Potatoes are sat in drills which are the most common. Some people set them in ridges. Timber ploughs were used long ago, all timber except "the sock" which was made of iron. Potatoes were cut in pieces with three eyes
