When the Green Bear of Orange arrived home he had drops of blood in his shirt, and clots of blood in his hair.
No amount of combing would get the blood out of his hair. Presently, the witch sent for the strange girl and asked her if she could get the blood out of his hair. "Certainly I can" said the girl "if you allow me spend one twelve hours with the Green Bear of Orange."
The girl produced her comb, and tried to comb his hair. Immediately the blood was combed out and his hair was perfectly clean again..
