- The following description was given by Mr. Patrick O'Callaghan who now lives in Loughfouder, Knocknagoshel, Co. Kerry.He is an ex-member of the Royal Irish Constabulary.
He is about fifty-two years of age and now owns a farm in Loughfouder.
He was born and reared in Raheenagh, Knocknagoshel, Co. Kerry.
About sixteen years ago he bought a farm in Loughfouder. He has lived there since that time.

The Old HouseThe ruins of an old house may still be seen in a field belonging to Patrick O'Callaghan of Loughfouder.A woman named Joan Connor lived there about seventy years ago. She had an acre of land. The house had mud walls, a mud floor, a thatched roof and a hole in the roof at the gable for a chimney. There was only one small window.
