LACKEENis a point on the seashore near Blackwater Pier in the townland of Lackeen. The ROGHA is a great fishing ground in Kenmare Bay midway between Lackeen point and the other side of Kenmare Bay. Rogha also means a submerged rock in this locality.
ASKIVE= Eas Caoimh situated near Sneem or Parknasilla. An outlaw named Keeffe went on the run "in Cromwell's time" and hid out here in a hut beside the stream "in the Cummer." He was captured and hanged at Askive Cross. Hence Eas Caoimh or Keeffe's waterfall.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
