In Carbury where my aunt is living...

In Carbury where my aunt is living, Mary Keegan, a footstep is heard going by every night and then the dead coach goes by and along the back road and stops at a house Mr. Smith's and the house goes afire. This man can't live in his own house. His mother is dead and she comes back every night and feeds the hens. For if passing by about midnight the house can be seen on fire and the noise of cans heard.
