between the Protestants of the North and the Catholics of the South. The Protestants would drive the Catholics before them for three days as far as the valley of the Black Pig. The Catholics would make a firm stand there and turn the tables on the Protestants , who would be defeated and many killed. The great war was to breakout between the two Lady days. After the fighting the women would stand on the hill tops and shade their eyes from the sun whilst looking to see if there was a man to be seen in the distance.
