- (continued from previous page)Fairies were seen there and music was heard in it. One night when a man was coming from rambling at about eleven o'clock in the Winter. He had a dog with him and the dog ran into the fort. He came out barking mad and ran in under the mans feet and nearly threw him.
- In the townland of Lackin, a short distance from our school is a fort called Liosaphucu. This fort is situated on the side of a hill facing the south. It is surrounded by a circular ditch of earth with bushes growing on the top having an opening in the side.
