(continued from previous page)up saying "ah musha your Reverence we are so far from the road that we don't hear anything."- There were three graveyards in the Rower long ago. One was in Kiltown at the back of a dwelling house which is now occupied by a family called Fenlon. The second graveyard was in Kylemore, but is now a rath, at the back of a cottage. One graveyard is still in use in the village, but the others are closed.
None of the churchyards are round in shape. The graveyard in the village surrounds a Protestant church. It is sloped gradually towards the East. There are sycamore and ash trees growing around it and there(continues on next page)- Collector
