Ar an leathanach seo
- Kilkieran got its name from an old chapel. It was built many a year ago, and it is now in a ruin. It was a little thatched chapel with the graveyard situated at the side of it. There is a well in the same field and it is called Saint Kieran's well. In a big tree at the gate of the field there is a holy water font.
- Brownsbarn got its name from St. Bruno. There was a Church there long ago and it said that a certain man came to look for a well that was supposed to be there but he could not find it. The ruin of the church is still standing.
Cromwell gave the title deeds of Brownsbarn to one of his officers. He went astray looking for the place mentioned and inquired(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
