One night Christy Butlers' father was going home from rambling. He had to go along a bit of a road first and then through fields and then out on the road again. When he was going through the fields he saw two lights coming towards him and what came up to him but two greyhounds with a light on each of their backs. The man kept going along away and the hounds after him one at each side of him. Then when the man got out on the road the hounds disappeared. The man went on home then and the more he went the weaker he got. When he was about a mile away from his own house he fell on the road in a weakness and was not able to go home. The next day was a fair day and there were people going to it. There was one man going first with a load of sheep and he knew the man, and he tied the horse to a tree and brought home the man and then went on to the fair.
