- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)The second graveyard is situated in the townland of Kilrúane. It got it's name from St. Ruáne. The ruins of his old church can be seen yet. It is believed in this locality that some of the people from the surrounding villages of Kilrúane were buried within the ruins of this old church. The graveyard itself must be very ancient because some of the inscriptions that were on the old tomb-stones have almost disappeared with age. The oldest tomb-stones readable at the present time were erected in the seventeenth century. These graveyards are still used as burial grounds. In the townland of Cloonmullin there are the ruins of another old church called Teampeall Máol. It was used in olden times as a burial place for unbaptised children. Some of the stones in the ruins of the old church were used as tomb-stones over the graves of the children buried there.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
