(wk) wet she reached Castlemore. She employed a side-car to take her out to the farm where her aunt lived. It was a vey long distance to the beginning of the avenue leading to the house. When they reached the gates at the beginning of the avenue, Sarah saw a tumble-down lodge. There was no one living in the lodge and the driver had to get down and open the gates himself.
The were five miles of an avenue to be traversed before they reached the house. After they had gone about two miles Sarah saw an old man leaning against a tree.
"Who is that man leaning against that tree" she asked of the man who was driving.
"I see no man" he said "What kind of a man is he?
"Oh he is a very old man and he is wearing spectacles" she answered(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
