    It is also said that on the 1st May and the 1st November the fairies used to change and people used to hear them dancing and singing or sometimes fighting around this bush.

  2. Customs.
    St. Bridget's Day.
    Long ago people used to make crosses on St. Bridget's Day. When that day was over the crosses were hung in the roofs of houses.
    Shrove Tuesday.
    It is the day before Ash Wednesday. People used to eat a lot of pan-
