- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Cloth is not spun or woven locally and the local people wear clothes made of cloth which is got from other places. I never heard of any saying or traditions connected with tailors except the saying that sixteen tailors make a man. The implements the tailors use are needles, thimbles, a measure, a scissors, a sewing machine and an iron. Shirts are made by some people in the homes. Flannelette, cotton and linen are used for making shirts. Socks and stockings are knitted locally. The thread is not spun locally but it is bought in the shops.
At the death of a relative black clothes are worn.- Bailitheoir
