The wild geese have almost the same habits as these. when we see these ducks passing in flocks over our house, towards nightfall, going south eastwards in the direction of Cloonakilleog we know that the flood is going down. Often in stormy weather, approaching snow, or in heavy frost these birds fly in every direction.
