- There are numerous stories connected with giants and strong brave men who fought against each other. Mr. John O'Sullivan was renowned for his great strength. He lived in Coomleigh. It is supposed, that one day Brian Boru was sitting at the "Queen's Table". During the feast he arose and hurled a large boulder through the air, and it landed at Caherdaniel.
