1/ Dandelion = a cure for a bad stomack and this is the way to prepare it, you must dig up the roots wash it boil it and strain it 2/ Smearment = a green plant like the dandelion and is a cure for a sick calf grind it up and give it in [?] 3/ Soot = If anyone happened to drink anything poisonus disolve soot in water and drink it. 4/ Yearra = a cure for a cut, this is the way to prepair it, pound it between two stones mix it with cream and put it to the cut. 5/ Cupóg leaf = for a nettle burn 6/ Pennyleaf - a cure for corns to pound it between your hands 7/ Hemlock = If a horse gets a fercy to put it up to the fercy and a bandage around it 8/ Sooty Straw = a cure for a cow if they get the blanes to put it under the cow's head and put fire to it.- Bailitheoir
